The Bishop Ready Silver Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Buckeye Valley Barons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bishop Ready comes in on ten and Buckeye Valley on eight.
On Thursday, Bishop Ready earned a 3-1 victory over Worthington Christian.
Bishop Ready had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-14.

Bishop Ready's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Sophia Dozer, who had 21 digs and two aces, and Alex Rawlings, who had eight digs and five aces. That's the most digs Rawlings has posted since September 2nd.
They weren't the only good servers: Bishop Ready was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Buckeye Valley got the win against Columbus Academy on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.
Buckeye Valley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Columbus Academy to exactly 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.
Bishop Ready's record is now 13-1. As for Buckeye Valley, their record now sits at 16-3.
Bishop Ready took their win against Buckeye Valley in their previous meeting on September 4th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silver Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
