Softball Recap: Hooks' Run of Four Straight Victories Now Over

Hooks and S & S Consolidated squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hooks had to settle for second. They came up short against the Rams, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered since April 17th.

Zoey Greenwood made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Peyton Morgan also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Hooks moved to 26-9-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for S & S Consolidated, their victory bumped their record up to 23-1.
