Soccer Recap: Eau Gallie Comes Up Short

Eau Gallie lost against Bayside back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eau Gallie Commodores came up short against the Bayside Bears, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Commodores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 450th, while the Bears are ranked 66th).

Eau Gallie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Bayside, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eau Gallie will square off against Cocoa at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bayside, they will challenge Melbourne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
