Softball Recap: Pendleton County Comes Up Short

Pendleton County fell victim to Petersburg and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 19-0 to the Vikings. The game marked the first time this season in which the Wildcat were not able to get on the board.

Pendleton County's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Petersburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.
