Baseball Recap: Mineola Comes Up Short

Mineola fell victim to Grand Saline and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 14-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Yellowjackets were not able to get on the board.

Mineola has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Grand Saline and bumps their season record up to 15-6.

Looking ahead, Mineola will take on Edgewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Saline, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ferris at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
