Channel Islands won the last time they faced Hueneme and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raiders blew past the Vikings 3-0. The win was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-20.

Brandon Romero paced Channel Islands' offense, picking up eight kills. Romero got some help from Daniel Miranda and his 15 assists. Romero was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Channel Islands' victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hueneme, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Channel Islands wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Malibu on the 3rd. As for Hueneme, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Fillmore on the 3rd.
