Baseball Recap: Notre Dame (SO) Knights vs. Harvard-Westlake Wolverines
After flying high against Harvard-Westlake last Tuesday, Notre Dame (SO) came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 7-0.
Beckett Berg was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
