Softball Recap: Section Triumphs

Section saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over the South Pittsburg Pirates. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Section's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for South Pittsburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Section will be taking part in a tournament against Crestview at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Pittsburg, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-2 victory against Sylvania on the 27th.
