Softball Recap: Palos Verdes Extends Road Winning Streak to Eight

With a playoff win on the line, Palos Verdes rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Linfield Christian Lions. Winning may never get old, but the Sea Kings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Palos Verdes got a massive performance out of Maven Ding, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Ding has posted since back in March of 2024. Addie Eroen also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Palos Verdes' win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-7. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Linfield Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 21-4.

As of now, neither Palos Verdes nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
