Santa Anna extended the longest winning streak in 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 9 (6 Man) this week by beating May, 60-38. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Santa Anna was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Tigers. Cameron Norris' team came in at 19 in the state poll after placing at number 30 last week.
Santa Anna's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Mountaineers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Michael Valencia has thrown for 473 yards this season, while Zack Diaz has 11 catches for 211 yards. Valencia also leads the league in rushing with 1295 yards.
The Mountaineers took down May 60-38 last week, the largest margin of any game. Valencia threw for 124 yards and ran for 164 yards in the win.
