Mia Bustos Game Report: vs Blue River Valley

On Saturday, Eastbrook got the W thanks in part to Mia Bustos playing the best basketball she has all season. Bustos dropped a double-double on 27 points and 16 rebounds, good enough to also set a new career-high in blocks in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she has now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games she's played.

Bustos and Eastbrook will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oak Hill at 11:30 a.m. on January 4, 2025. The game will pit Bustos up against the Golden Eagles' star small forwar Morgan Cates. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
