Volleyball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Victory Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ramona Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why Victory Christian Academy lost, don't look at Brad Chier. Despite the final result, he had 16 kills, 11 digs, and two aces. Chier is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had five or more in each of the last 24 games he's played. Esteban Torres was another key player, getting 20 assists and six digs.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Ramona, their victory bumped their record up to 9-16.
