Volleyball Recap: Dutchtown Comes Up Short

Dutchtown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Whitewater Wildcats. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in August of 2020.

Whitewater can attribute much of their success to Rylee Vessell, who had 12 digs. That's the most digs Vessell has posted since back in October of 2024.

Dutchtown's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Whitewater, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1.

Dutchtown has already played their next game (against Luella), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Whitewater, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Eagle's Landing on the 14th.
