Basketball Recap: Leonard's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Leonard won the last time they faced Seminole Ridge and things went their way on Thursday too. The Leonard Lancers enjoyed a cozy 64-49 victory over the Seminole Ridge Hawks.

Despite the loss, Seminole Ridge still got an impressive performance from Jonah Pio, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 boards. Those 23 points gave Pio a new career-high. Jayon Coe was another key player, putting up two points.

Leonard's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5. As for Seminole Ridge, their defeat was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Leonard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 51-44 loss against Inlet Grove on the 13th. As for Seminole Ridge, they will welcome Coconut Creek at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
