Baseball Game Preview: Berkner Rams vs. Seagoville Dragons

The Berkner Rams will venture away from home to face off against the Seagoville Dragons at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Berkner's last matchup with Molina could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. Berkner lost 15-1 to Molina. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Rams who fell 4-2 when the teams previously met back in April of 2019.

Seagoville never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Conrad last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 17-8 margin over the Chargers. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Dragons' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Seagoville's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Berkner, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1.

Berkner beat Seagoville 5-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Does Berkner have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seagoville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
