Basketball Game Preview: Benson Bunnies vs. Westview

The Benson Bunnies and Westview will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Benson beat Buena Vista 59-53. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bunnies.

Goanar Bamach had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (six). Another player making a difference was Daniel Lino, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Westview put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 86-46 victory over Omaha Northwest. Westview has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 26 points or more this season.

Westview's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Benson, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
