Softball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Highland was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell 4-1 to the Gosnell Pirates. The Rebels haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Highland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miya Orosz, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That hit marked the first that Orosz got this season.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Gosnell, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

While Highland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
