Soccer Recap: Anacortes' Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Anacortes lost against Squalicum back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Seahawks came up short against the Storm, falling 5-0. The loss was Anacortes' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Anacortes fell to 5-1-2. As for Squalicum, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-2.

Coming up, Anacortes is taking a road trip to take on Lynden Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Anacortes' defense better be ready for this one: Lynden Christian have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Squalicum, they will host Nooksack Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Squalicum are facing Nooksack Valley at the right time seeing as Nooksack Valley are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
