Recap: Miller Rebels vs. Pacific Pirates

This season hasn't been kind to the Miller Rebels, who are still winless after their 13th game. They took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pacific on Tuesday. Miller lost against Pacific in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-41 score last time.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pacific to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ross Bradford, who scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Bradford scored 15 or more points. Maurice Fitzgerald was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Miller bumped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Pacific, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miller will take on San Bernardino at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully San Bernardino focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Tuesday. As for Pacific, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jurupa Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Jurupa Valley is ranked 1195th, while Pacific is ranked 1182nd).
