Kellam is a perfect 10-0 against Salem since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Sundevils at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Kellam had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Tallwood on Tuesday. The Knights blew past the Lions 8-2. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Salem won against Norview on Monday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Sundevils beat Green Run by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 17-3. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hannah Hebert made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Arianny Driggers, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mia Delfarvero, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.

Salem always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green Run only posted an OBP of .250.

Kellam has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Salem, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-13 and their overall record up to 5-14.

Kellam got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April against Salem by a conclusive 17-5 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Sundevils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
