Football Game Recap: Roanoke Catholic vs. Fuqua

Roanoke Catholic won the last time they met up with Fuqua, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything came up roses for Roanoke Catholic against Fuqua on Friday as the team secured a 52-8 win.

Roanoke Catholic's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 52 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Fuqua couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 52-0 heading into the break. Roanoke Catholic were outperformed in the second half 0-8 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. They added further sheen to their flawless record, now 5-0. The defeat dropped Fuqua's record to 1-4.

Next week Roanoke Catholic take on Norfolk Christian at 7:00 PM. As for Fuqua, they will face off against Portsmouth Christian.
