Holmes is a perfect 7-0 against Perquimans since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on the 14th. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Perquimans will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Holmes extended their winning streak to six on Thursday. The Aces simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Manteo 43-7. The Aces pushed the score to 28-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Redskins had little chance of recovering from.

Holmes' defense made their presence known, laying out Drew Brown 5.5 times. Amari Bond refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by himself.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perquimans). They were the clear victors by a 56-30 margin over Bertie on Thursday. The Pirates not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since November 15, 2024 (when they won 56-8).

Holmes' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Perquimans, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of the 14th's game: Holmes has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 393.3 total yards per game. It's a different story for Perquimans, though, as they've been averaging only 244.4 total yards. Will Holmes be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Pirates flip the script?

Everything came up roses for Holmes against Perquimans when the teams last played last Friday, as the team secured a 59-21 victory. In that contest, the Aces amassed a halftime lead of 39-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on the 14th.
