Basketball Game Preview: Tidehaven Tigers vs. Columbus Cardinals

Tidehaven hasn't had much luck against Columbus recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tidehaven Tigers duke it out with the Columbus Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. Tidehaven is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Tidehaven escaped with a win against Edna by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 62 points the game before, Columbus was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost to Industrial on the road by a 39-21 margin. The Cardinals' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Tidehaven, they pushed their record up to 18-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Tidehaven beat Columbus 61-53 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tidehaven since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
