Football Recap: Bastrop Starts Season with Win at Home + How To Watch

Bastrop took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the Alvin Yellowjackets to the tune of 55-14. The Bears pushed the score to 49-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Yellowjackets cut but never quite recovered from.

Although Alvin took the loss, they still got scores from Alex Avitia and Keegan Moore.

Looking ahead, Bastrop will take on China Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alvin, they will square off against Fort Bend Dulles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
