Football Recap: Bastrop Starts off Right with Win over Alvin + How To Watch

Bastrop took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 55-14 victory over the Alvin Yellowjackets. That's more bragging rights for the Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Although Alvin took the loss, they still got scores from Alex Avitia and Keegan Moore.

Coming up, Bastrop will hit the road for the first time this season to take on China Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alvin, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Fort Bend Dulles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
