Volleyball Recap: Kyra Kanai and Renna Chow Secure Win for Eastlake + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Eastlake and Newport - Bellevue had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wolves walked away with a 3-1 win over the Knights on Tuesday. The game was the first time the Wolves have beaten the Knights on their court since September 14, 2021.

Eastlake walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12, 22-25, 25-22.

Leading Eastlake to victory were Renna Chow and Kyra Kanai. Chow had 20 digs and one assist, while Kanai had 16 assists and six digs. That's the most digs Kanai has posted over her last six matchups.

Eastlake was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. They are 6-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Eastlake's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-14-1. As for Newport - Bellevue, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Eastlake will host Mount Si at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newport - Bellevue, they will square off against Mercer Island at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
