Softball Recap: Indian Rocks Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Admiral Farragut last Tuesday, Indian Rocks Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Seffner Christian Crusaders on Thursday, falling 11-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost eight in a row.

Indian Rocks Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Seffner Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Indian Rocks Christian will venture away from home to take on Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Seffner Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Grace Christian at 4:30 p.m.
