Volleyball Recap: Roswell Takes a Loss

Roswell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Goddard Rockets, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Saturday.

Roswell was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Goddard work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 26-24.

Roswell's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Goddard, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Roswell has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Mayfield on the 13th. As for Goddard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Organ Mountain on the 13th.
