Burlington has gone 3-0 against Beloit Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Burlington Demons will square off against the Beloit Memorial Purple Knights at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Burlington came up short against Indian Trail and fell 55-46. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-33, which was the final score in Beloit Memorial's tilt against Guilford on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Purple Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 296th in Wisconsin, while the Vikings are ranked 79th in Illinois).

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Beloit Memorial, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Burlington didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Beloit Memorial in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 52-47 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burlington since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
