Basketball Game Preview: Flushing Raiders vs. Kearsley Hornets + How To Watch

The Flushing Raiders will head out to take on the Kearsley Hornets at 7:10 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Kearsley will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Flushing extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday. The Raiders came out on top against Powers Catholic by a score of 63-52. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Kearsley and Linden had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Hornets walked away with a 67-55 victory over the Eagles on Friday.

Flushing better focus on containing Aiden Tipton and Bryson Evans as the pair were huge in Kearsley's win. Tipton posted 25 points, while Evans scored 24 points. Those 25 points gave Tipton a new career-high.

Kearsley's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Flushing, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Flushing strolled past Kearsley in their previous meeting back in December of 2025 by a score of 62-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
