Football Recap: Christian Heritage Triumphs + How To Watch

Christian Heritage won the last time they faced Pepperell and things went their way on Friday too. The Lions secured a 30-26 W over the Dragons.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Christian Heritage, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cooper Middleton, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Pepperell lost, don't look at Moss Tant. Despite the final result, he threw for 143 yards and three TDs.

Christian Heritage's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Pepperell, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Heritage will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dade County at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. The matchup will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Pepperell, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cedartown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
