There's no place like home for Lakeside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Natoma Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-1 victory on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lakeside took both sets by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-10.

Jaycee Remus paced Lakeside's offense, picking up five kills. Remus got some help from Kaylee Otte and her five assists. Otte was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Lakeside's win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-13. As for Natoma, they dropped their record down to 3-20 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lakeside beat the Tigers by a score of 2-1 later that day.
