Volleyball Recap: Trinity Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

Trinity dropped to 10-11 on Tuesday, ending the team's six-match streak of wins at home. They fell just short of the West Davidson Dragons by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

When it comes to explaining why Trinity lost, don't look at Avalynn Johnson. Despite the final result, she had 51 assists and 19 digs. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 46 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Charlee Phillips, who had 18 digs and two aces.

As for West Davidson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since August 25th.

West Davidson was led to victory by Cheyenne Hedrick and Spencer Simerson. Hedrick had 22 digs and one assist, while Simerson had ten digs and one assist. That's the most digs Simerson has posted over her last six contests.
