Volleyball Recap: Central Crossing Takes a Loss

After flying high against Briggs on Wednesday, Central Crossing came back down to earth. The Comets came up short against the Grove City Greyhounds on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 25-21.

Central Crossing's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Grove City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-16.

Coming up, Central Crossing will face off against Westland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grove City, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Olentangy Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
