Softball Recap: Prestonwood Christian Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Prestonwood Christian's offense. They lost 17-0 to the John Paul II Cardinals on Friday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Cardinals recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Prestonwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for John Paul II, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Coming up, Prestonwood Christian will welcome Bishop Lynch at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Friars at the right time seeing as the Friars are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for John Paul II, they will head out to challenge Legacy Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
