Soccer Recap: Tennessee Comes Up Short

If Tennessee was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Virginia High last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings came up short against the University School Buccaneers on Tuesday, falling 5-2. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Tennessee couldn't quite close it out.

Tennessee's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for University School, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tennessee will head out to square off against Elizabethton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University School, they will venture away from home to challenge Pigeon Forge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be University School's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
