Basketball Recap: Vicksburg Comes Up Short

If Vicksburg was riding high fresh off their 76-47 takedown of Dowagiac last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vicksburg Bulldogs lost to the Paw Paw Red Wolves at home by a 62-47 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Red Wolves are ranked fifth).

Having lost for the first time this season, Vicksburg fell to 2-1. As for Paw Paw, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Vicksburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 63-55 loss against Niles on the 10th. Paw Paw has also already played their next match, a 39-36 win against Edwardsburg on the 10th.
