Volleyball Recap: New Trier Takes Down Palatine in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and New Trier had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Palatine Pirates 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Trevians as they're now sitting on three straight.

New Trier had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-16, 25-17.

New Trier pushed their record up to 24-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Palatine, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-18.

As of now, neither New Trier nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
