After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Natick, Cambridge Rindge & Latin was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Waltham Hawks by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won four in a row.

Cambridge Rindge & Latin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-21.

Brennan Loud paced Cambridge Rindge & Latin's offense, picking up 18 kills. Loud got some help from Owen Murphy and his 27 assists. Finally, Eric Ohanyan and Nate O'Connell kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked two attacks.

When it comes to explaining why Waltham lost, don't look at Paul Shin. Despite the final result, he had 14 digs and two assists. Matthew Longacre was another key player, getting 15 assists and six digs.

Cambridge Rindge & Latin's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Waltham, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
