Basketball Recap: Delmarva Christian Snags 11th Victory in Last 14 Games

Delmarva Christian had won two straight home games and Darius Liles did his part to make it three on Friday. The Delmarva Christian Royals took their matchup with ease, bagging a 69-19 win over Salisbury Christian thanks in part to Liles, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 15 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played.

D J Liles was another key player, going 7-for-10 on his way to 15 points and six boards. What's more, he also posted a 70% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024.

Delmarva Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Salisbury Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Coming up, Delmarva Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Worcester Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Delmarva Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Worcester Prep likes a good challenge. Salisbury Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
