Recap: Beamer Titans vs. Kentlake Falcons
The Beamer Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Kentlake 76-47 on the road. With Beamer ahead 47-22 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Caleb Berry continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with seven rebounds. Will Tellis was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with four steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Beamer and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Kentlake, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beamer will take on Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rogers knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matches -- so hopefully Beamer likes a good challenge. As for Kentlake, they will head out on the road to face off against Edmonds-Woodway at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Edmonds-Woodway focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
