Baseball Recap: Strasburg-Franklin's Luck Changes for the Better on Wednesday

Strasburg-Franklin can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Claymont Mustangs. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Drew Lancaster, who scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has become a key player for Strasburg-Franklin: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Avery Keffer was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Strasburg-Franklin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Claymont only posted a batting average of .192.
