There's no place like home for Horizon Science Academy-Southwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Chicago Military Academy Eagles on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Horizon Science Academy-Southwest never let Chicago Military Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16.

Horizon Science Academy-Southwest's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Chicago Military Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Horizon Science Academy-Southwest will head out to square off against Chicago Vocational at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chicago Military Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Julian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
