Volleyball Recap: West Grand Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Grand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meeker Cowboys. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cowboys when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While West Grand had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 19-25, 25-19.

West Grand's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Meeker, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. West Grand will face off against Middle Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Meeker, they will venture away from home to square off against North Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
