Baseball Recap: Trinity Gets the Win

Trinity gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the Kennard-Dale Rams by a score of 9-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Shamrocks.

Trinity got a great performance from Liam Sexton as he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Dominic Haas was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Chris Beasley was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Trinity's record is now 2-0. As for Kennard-Dale, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Trinity and Kennard-Dale will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Trinity is set to square off against their familiar foe East Pennsboro at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kennard-Dale will take on rival New Oxford at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
