Basketball Recap: Ponca Comes Up Short

Ponca lost against Boone Central back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Ponca Indians took a 63-44 bruising from the Boone Central Cardinals.

Ponca's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Boone Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Ponca will take on Norfolk Catholic at 7:45 p.m. on February 14th. As for Boone Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wayne comes in on five and Boone Central on four.
