Football Recap: Schalick's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Schalick's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Woodbury Thundering Herd by a score of 24-12. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Although Woodbury took the loss, they still got scores from Mark Martin Jr. and Elijah Young.

The victory snapped Schalick's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for Woodbury, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Schalick will venture away from home to take on Pennsville Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for Woodbury, they are taking a road trip to face off against Paulsboro at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
