Clover is a perfect 8-0 against Indian Land since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Eagles will challenge the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clover has three straight wins, Indian Land has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Clover and Northwestern have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. Given Clover's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while Northwestern are ranked 147th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Indian Land lost 6-1 to Catawba Ridge on Tuesday. Indian Land were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Clover's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. As for Indian Land, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
