Basketball Game Preview: Indianapolis Lutheran Saints vs. Beech Grove Hornets

Indianapolis Lutheran hasn't had much luck against Beech Grove recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Indianapolis Lutheran Saints will host the Beech Grove Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Indianapolis Lutheran lost to Triton Central at home by a 41-25 margin. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Beech Grove was beaten by Southport 75-42 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost four in a row.

Indianapolis Lutheran will have to keep a close watch on Bishop Moore and Jasaum Sowell, a pair of players who had a big impact on Beech Grove's prior game. Moore went 6 for 14 on his way to 14 points and five boards, while Sowell posted 11 points.

Beech Grove's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
