Kirby typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Nashville proved too difficult a challenge. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Kirby Trojans 80-45. The Scrappers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 35 points or more this season.

The win (which was Nashville's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Kirby, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nashville will welcome Mills University Studies at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. As for Kirby, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mount Ida at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th.
